Isinkwe Lodge is a provider of luxury accommodation, meals, serviced and wildlife experiences situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, Gauteng, South Africa
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Our Game Drive vehicle can only seat 10 people at a time. Drives can be alternated if the limit is exceeded. Isinkwe Lodge is based inside Pride of Africa, within the greater Dinokeng Game Reserve, fenced inside an enclosure.
Jogging & bicycle riding is permitted on the main roads
Dinokeng Game Reserve has a speed limit of 40km/h and the speed limit within Pride of Africa is 20km/h.

A full roominglist is required for your entry at our Pride of Africa gate as well as the payment receipt of the access fee’s. Failure to provide this, will result in no entry. Kindly send a full roominglist for your booking to info@isinkwelodge.com
No Driving on unmarked roads as this would indicate private property.
Driving in the reserve before 06h00 and after 18h00 is discouraged.
Dinokeng Game Reserve is a malaria free reserve.
The rooms and Lodge will be serviced and cleaned daily and is included in your rate.
You will receive a daily supply of wood for the boma and firelighters. You will need to supply your own fire wood for the fire places in the rooms.
It is imperative to always pack clothing for different weather conditions to ensure comfort during your stay.
GENERAL RULES:
We experience load shedding as per the National grid schedule. Please be patient and enjoy the quiet of the bushveld during these times. A generator is available to power appliances in the main lodge.
No overcrowding – If, in the opinion of management, more than the stipulated number of persons occupy the unit, you or your party may be required to vacate the unit and leave the premises immediately. No day visitors are allowed without the prior approval of management.
Breakages/Damages – You will be held personally liable for the cost of repairs or replacement of articles, towels, linen and any other arising from any damage (Colorants of hair, makeup or any stain to linen or towels) to or loss of the unit or its contents, or cost incurred by you or your party on account during occupation of the unit and you will be charged/invoiced for such damage or costs to be settled immediately or within 7 days or replacement thereof accordingly. Please note that most lodges charge a refundable breakage deposit for this purpose. Shortages, breakages not reported timeously will be charged to your account on checkout or if discovered after you have checked out.
NO Loud Noise – a.i no music, firecrackers or intoxication will be tolerated, and management may request you to vacate the unit and leave the premises without any compensation.
Indemnity – Isinkwe Lodge and management accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, loss, damage, expense or accident suffered at the lodge or on Game drives and arising from any act of God, nature, war, terrorism, insurrection, riot, boycott, theft, labour action, government action, natural disaster, bad weather or interrupted electrical and water damage.
Dress Code - You and your party will always be expected to be fully clothed and no nudity or obscenities outside the units will be tolerated and management may request you to vacate the unit and leave the premises without any compensation.
Swimming pool: No Lifeguard is on duty and children should at all-time be accommodated by parents or guardians on the premises. No glass bottles, glasses are permitted in or around the pool. Guests will at all times be properly dressed in appropriate swimwear and no nudity or obscene behaviour inside or outside the pool or pool area will be tolerated. Noise levels at the pool should be controlled. No tampering with pool equipment is allowed.
EXTRA CHARGES
Game Drives: Enjoy a lovely bumble in the bush with an experienced and qualified ranger and with luck - you could not only see the Big Five, but many different species. This activity is about 2 to 2.5 hours long and can be booked directly with us prior or during your stay. CANCELLATION POLICY:
120 Days: 25% payable of total booking value
90 Days: 50% payable of total booking value
60 Days: 75% payable of total booking value
Less than 60 Days: Full amount payable of total booking value
WAIVER AND INDEMNITY
(WILL APPLY ALL PERSONS RELATED TO THE BOOKING ONCE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID AND WILL BE VALID FOR 365 DAYS THEREAFTER) I, the payee and all members of my party, hereby acknowledge that the wildlife on Isinkwe LODGE ("ISINKWE") and Dinokeng Private Game Reserve ("DINOKENG"), and surrounding land ("FARMS") constitute a potential danger to persons walking on the FARMS, or travelling in open or closed vehicles thereon, whether or not, accompanied by a ranger or in proximity of chalets or other buildings. Acting herein for myself and my invitees, including members of my family, I hereby waive and abandon any and all claims of every nature and whether for me personally or in any representative capacity, howsoever arising in respect of any damage or compensation arising out of the death or personal injury to me or any person who I may represent caused by or attributable to any animal, reptile or insect on the FARMS or arising out of the damage to my vehicles or other assets, fixed or movable, by any such animal, or whether attributable to the state of the roads on the FARMS or arising out of loss suffered by reason of the FARMS at any time falling into a defective state or by reason of any repairs, renovations to the land or maintenance work on the FARMS having been effected improperly or not having been effected at all, or arising out of any act or omission by any officer or employee of ISINKWE. Such waiver shall, in addition, apply to claims or losses arising from involvement, directly or indirectly, in outings or activities sanctioned and/or organized by the management. I am aware I am entering a Malaria free environment. I furthermore indemnify and hold harmless the said Isinkwe and their officers and employees, from time to time, against any loss or damage, whether in respect of capital and/or cost awarded by any court in respect of any loss above contemplated, suffered by me or any invitees, including members of my family. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I undertake at all times to obey immediately and without query, any order, command, demand or request that may be made to me at any stage in the course of any expeditions on the FARMS, by any ranger or other employee of ISINKWE and I acknowledge that any such order, command or request, will be made for the purpose of ensuring my own personal safety, alternatively the safety of others in whose company I may be. I, furthermore, undertake and agree that this waiver and indemnity shall be effective in respect of my visit to ISINKWE about to be undertaken, and in respect of future visits therein, and shall continue to be fully effective and operative.
